About Time. Interior Pictures of 1954 Airstream.

It has been awhile since I posted, so I've decided it's time for a little update.  For this post I'm going to post pictures of the interior of Nellie our 1954 Airstream.  She has turned out beautiful and proves to be very efficient as we have been able to camp in her several times this season.

Front Area. Door with-in a door on right.

Kitchen area with drawer under oven soon to be completed.
Looking from front to back of camper toward bed area.  Pantry with pull-out microwave on the right.  Bathroom on right and wardrobe closet on the left.
View of camper from back looking forward.  Storage area and refrigerator on the right.
Cozy bed area with cupboards (soon to have doors on) on each side of the bed for clothing.  And reading lights above the bed and inside the shelf area.  Handy!

Nellie's Maiden Voyage.

After three-years of renovations by Doug, Nellie our 1954 Airstream Cruiser was ready for her first outing.
Henrietta settles in for the ride.
Construction and rain during our travels.  One of the many round-abouts being created on Hwy. 65.
 Our destination.
A little tired after all of his hard work on Nellie's shell-off restoration.
Enjoying great people and fun conversations around the campfire.
Ben came up for a day.
Doug got a picture of me.
Garage Saleing wears a dog out :)
View of the lake from our site.
I think Henri thinks camping life is o.k.
Next post I'll have more pictures of the inside of Nellie.  She is gorgeous and fun to camp in.

My New Girls.

We picked up six laying hens last night.  We are looking forward to their fresh eggs and also to help with pest control in the garden.
After checking out the girls, I went for a walk around the yard this morning.
Will be picking Kale soon.  Yum!
Apple tree blossoms.
Bleeding heart bush is so full and beautiful.
I have beautiful tulips blooming all over the yard.  Doug and Ben planted them so that they would be blooming for our 25th wedding anniversary last year.  Now I get to enjoy them every year.
Waiting for a family.

Orange Organizer. Welded Art.

Doug updated our silverware drawer organizer by spray painting it orange.
It looks so cool.
Makes getting a spoon or fork so much more exciting!
Ben's newest welded piece of art.
It is full of well chosen pieces.  Another awesome creation Ben!
