Busy Weekend Continued

First, my Mother's Day gift from Ben...

A piece of artwork for my flower garden.  It is the perfect mother's day gift from you.  Thanks Ben.

Then we worked on some outdoor projects.  We mulched the strawberries and raspberries.  We put down a thick layer of newspapers and then a layer of straw.

Then we played a game of catch...

Then I took another picture of the bleeding hearts. I am beginning to understand the term "the light is just right".

and I got a new plant today.  I really was drawn to it's unique color.

...and then Ellie called to wish me a Happy Mother's Day.

It was the perfect day.
